EGR VALVE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XBWPE04
      *1 Component without harness connected: (No. 1 and No. 2 EGR Valves)

      Check the EGR valve position sensor.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (+B) - 5 (EGR) 20°C (68°F) 6.5 to 7.5 Ω
        3 (VC) - 2 (E2) Always 2.45 to 4.55 kΩ

        Tech Tips

        The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the EGR valve assembly.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the EGR valve assembly.
