PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
Disconnect the cables from the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type 40 Side)
Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly RH Click here.
REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type 60 Side)
Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly LH Click here.
REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
for Face to Face Seat Type:
Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly Click here.

REMOVE REAR STEP COVER
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE
REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat, except Face to Face Seat Type)
REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
w/ Sliding Roof:
Remove the front quarter trim panel assembly LH Click here.
w/o Sliding Roof:
Remove the front quarter trim panel assembly LH Click here.
REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH
w/ Sliding Roof:
Remove the front quarter trim panel assembly RH Click here.

REMOVE AIR DUCT PLUG (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)
REMOVE REAR AIR DUCT GUIDE (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)
SEPARATE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY
w/ Rear Air Conditioning System:
Detach the 5 clips and fold back the floor mat toward the front of the vehicle.
Tech Tips
Fold back the floor mat so that the rear No. 7 air duct can be removed.
w/o Rear Air Conditioning System:
Detach the 5 clips and fold back the floor mat toward the front of the vehicle.
Tech Tips
Fold back the floor mat so that the service hole cover can be removed.
REMOVE REAR NO. 7 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)
Detach the 4 clips and remove the air duct.
REMOVE REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the sender gauge connector.
Remove the 5 screws and sender gauge.
Note
Be careful not to bend the arm of the fuel sender gauge.
Remove the gasket from the sender gauge.
