FUEL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

Note:

Do not disconnect the hoses indicated in the illustration.

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

   Click here

2. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK (for Single Tank Type)

   
   
   1. 

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes to remove the fuel sub-tank.

      Note:

      Do not damage the fuel sub-tank.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK (for Double Tank Type)

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

   2.

      Jet Pump

      Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw from the sub-tank.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   3. 

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes to remove the fuel sub-tank.

      Note:

      Do not damage the fuel sub-tank.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. Click here

   REMOVE FUEL PUMP (for Double Tank Type)

   
   
   1. 

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws from the claw holes and remove the fuel pump.

      Tip:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   2. 

      Disconnect the fuel pump wire harness connector from the fuel pump.

   3.

      *1	O-Ring
      *2	Spacer

      Remove the O-ring and spacer from the fuel pump.
