FUEL FILTER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the level warning switch.


      1. A01X7B5E01
        *a Component without harness connected: (Level Warning Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Float upper end position Below 1 Ω
        1 - 2 Float lower end position 1 MΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel filter assembly.

    2. Inspect the clogging switch.


      1. A01X9SYE01
        *a Component without harness connected: (Clogging Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel filter assembly.
