REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH CLIP (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for Corner Sensor:

  2. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH CLIP (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for Back Sensor:

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  5. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      *b Guide

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the pin and guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH (for Standard)

      Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    2. B001LNA

      Disengage the 5 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower rear bumper retainer LH.

  8. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH (for Standard)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH (for Sport Package)

      Remove the clip.

    2. Remove the 7 outside moulding retainers.

    3. B001N6H

      Disengage the 2 claws and 7 guides to remove the lower rear bumper retainer LH.

  10. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH (for Sport Package)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

    2. Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    3. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower rear bumper cover from the rear bumper cover.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. B001LZG

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B001NCI

      Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
