FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. B001M1J

      Engage the clip and install the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B001LCQ

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the front side member bracket sub-assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B001LFO

      Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 4 clamps.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. B001MJX

      Engage the 2 guides to install a new front bumper energy absorber.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SEAL


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Install 2 new front bumper seals to the new front bumper energy absorber.

  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Engage the 2 claws and install the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. for Standard:

        Engage the 17 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

    2. for Sport Package:


      1. A004WG4

        Engage the 17 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  10. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)


    1. B001MZY

      Engage the guide and claw.

    2. Install the symbol emblem with 2 new spring nuts.

  11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

      Engage the guide and claw.

    2. Install the radiator grille emblem with 2 new spring nuts.

  12. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. for Standard:


      1. A004X5E

        Engage the 7 claws.

    2. for Sport Package:


      1. A004YOD

        Engage the 7 claws.

    3. A004ZMS

      Install the 2 screws.

    4. A00504X

      Install the radiator grille with the 2 screws.

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A004VQI

      Engage the 8 claws.

    2. A004Y1F

      Install the radiator grille moulding with the 2 screws.

  14. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A004YKU

      Engage the 18 claws.

    2. A004YQX

      Install the lower radiator grille moulding with the 4 screws.

  15. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR


    1. A004Y3J

      Engage the 7 claws.

    2. A004WUH

      Install the lower radiator air deflector with the 2 screws.

  16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the 3 claws to install the front bumper hole cover LH.

  17. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      Install a new hood to radiator grille seal with the 16 clips.

  19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Standard)

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Sport Package)

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  21. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (w/o Fog Light)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the front bumper extension LH.

  22. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (w/ Fog Light)

        Engage the 4 claws to install the front bumper extension LH.

    2. for Sport Package:

        Engage the 2 guides and 4 claws.

        Install the 2 outside moulding retainers.

      3. A004XY3

        Install the front bumper extension LH with the 2 clips.

  24. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the fog light mounting bracket LH with the 2 screws.

  26. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  27. INSTALL NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 11 clamps to install the No. 3 engine room wire.
