PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Lexus Safety System+)

  2. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR WIRE (w/ Lexus Safety System+)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the millimeter wave radar wire.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Disengage the 8 clamps to remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

  11. REMOVE CONNECTOR BRACKET (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the connector bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 11 clamps to remove the No. 3 engine room wire.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (w/o Fog Light)

      Remove the 4 outside moulding retainers.

    2. B001KLF

      Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides to remove the front bumper extension LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (w/ Fog Light)

        Remove the 4 outside moulding retainers.

      2. B001LZE

        Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides to remove the front bumper extension LH.

    2. for Sport Package:


      1. B001KZK

        Remove the 3 clips.

      2. B001MRU

        Remove the 8 outside moulding retainers.

      3. B001MCU

        Disengage the 8 guides to remove the front bumper extension LH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING LH (for Sport Package)

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the lower radiator grille moulding LH.

  20. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING RH (for Sport Package)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Standard)

        Remove the 2 screws.

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    2. for Type B:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B001KB3

        Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    3. for Type C:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B001MA0

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  22. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Sport Package)


    1. for Type A:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B001LZP

        Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    2. for Type B:


      1. B001LMG

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B001KWB

        Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  23. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

      B001MUK Double-sided Tape

      Disengage the 16 clips.

    2. Separate the double-sided tapes and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

  24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

      *a Hook

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

  25. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. B001NAV

      Disengage the 7 claws to remove the lower radiator air deflector.

  27. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. B001L91

      Disengage the 18 claws to remove the lower radiator grille moulding.

  28. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. B001MPL

      Disengage the 8 claws to remove the radiator grille moulding.

  29. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. B001LKW

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Disengage the 6 claws to remove the radiator grille.

  30. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Lexus Safety System+)


    1. for Type A:

        Remove the 2 spring nuts.

      2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the symbol emblem.

    2. for Type B:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the symbol emblem.

  31. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Lexus Safety System+)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the radiator grille emblem.

  32. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    2. B001KDO

      Disengage the 17 claws and 2 guides to remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  33. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  34. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SEAL

      B001MUK Double-sided Tape

      Separate the double-sided tape and remove the 2 front bumper seals.

  35. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  36. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B001LCQ

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the front side member bracket sub-assembly LH.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MEMBER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the clip to remove the front bumper side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  40. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
