REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B001NCI

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B001KFW

      Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. B001LZG

      Engage the 3 claws.

    2. Install the rear bumper side retainer LH with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 8 claws.

    3. Install the 2 outside moulding retainers.

      B001LVZ

    4. Install the lower rear bumper cover with the 4 clips.

  7. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH (for Standard)

      Engage the 2 guides and 5 claws.

    2. B001LJ7

      Install the lower rear bumper retainer LH with the 2 outside moulding retainers.

  8. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH (for Standard)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH (for Sport Package)

      Engage the 7 guides and 2 claws.

    2. B001KQ8

      Install the 7 outside moulding retainers.

    3. Install the lower rear bumper retainer LH with the clip.

  10. INSTALL LOWER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH (for Sport Package)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      Engage the guide and pin.

    2. Install the reflex reflector assembly LH with the screw.

  12. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  14. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)
