Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE

      Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the rear light socket and wire.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT LED

      Turn the rear light LED as shown in the illustration to remove it.

  3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PROTECTOR

      Remove the rear combination light protector.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear combination light protector from the vehicle body.

      • Do not reuse the removed rear combination light protector. Be sure to install a new rear combination light protector to prevent water ingress.

  4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET

      Remove the rear light gasket.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.

      • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  5. REMOVE REAR LIGHT LENS AND BODY
