UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

2. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH

   
   

   1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 claws.

      

   2. Disengage the 8 guides and remove the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 3 screws <B>.

   2. Disengage the claw and remove the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 3 screws <B> and defroster nozzle assembly.

6. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation Antenna)

   for LHD:

7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation Antenna)

   for RHD:

8. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation Antenna)

   for RHD with 7 Inch Display:

   Click here

9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Navigation Antenna)

   except RHD with 7 Inch Display:

   Click here

10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

    
    

    1. Using a clip remover, disengage each clamp and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

       

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
