REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A004YUG

      Install the rear seatback lock assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the installation surface of the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. Attach the 4 pieces of double-sided tape and install the No. 2 rear seatback edge protector to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Insert the rod of the rear seatback lock assembly LH to the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the guide.

    3. Install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH


    1. A004VVJ

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad LH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. A004WDZ

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    4. A004Z4Q

      Engage the 8 hooks.

    5. Install 9 new clips to the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

    7. Engage the fastener.

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad LH with 2 new clips.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER LH


    1. A004ZMH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover LH.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER BASE LH


    1. A004Y45

      Engage the 5 claws.

    2. Install the rear seatback lock control lever base LH with the screw.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH


    1. A0050CP

      Engage the 2 guides and claw to install the rear seatback lock striker cover LH.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A005011

      Install the rear seatback lock assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the installation surface of the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

    2. Attach the 12 pieces of double-sided tape and install the rear seatback edge protector to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Insert the rod of the rear seatback lock assembly RH to the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the guide.

    3. Install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly RH.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH with 9 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

    2. A004VVA

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad RH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat center headrest supports.

    3. A004VKP

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    4. A004YQB

      Engage the 4 hooks.

    5. A004VKF

      Engage the 10 hooks.

    6. Install 9 new clips to the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

    7. A004ZG0

      Engage the 9 clips.

    8. A004W9R

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad RH with 3 new clips.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER RH


    1. A004YL0

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover RH.

    2. w/ Rear Seatback Cover:


      1. Install the rear seatback cover RH.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.

  17. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

      Engage the 2 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER BASE RH


    1. A004YAW

      Engage the 5 claws.

    2. Install the rear seatback lock control lever base RH with the screw.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH


    1. A004ZGX

      Engage the 2 guides and claw to install the rear seatback lock striker cover RH.

  20. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install 24 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 22 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 21 new hog rings.
