DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU assembly uses the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly to detect objects in front of the vehicle. Based on signals from the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, the driving support ECU assembly sends pre-collision system control operation signals. These DTCs are stored when a communication malfunction occurs between ECUs that perform pre-collision system control.

U0126 Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the steering sensor (spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 4 seconds. CAN communication system
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module When the power switch is on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 3 seconds. CAN communication system
U0293 Lost Communication with HV ECU When the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more, a communication error between the power management control ECU and the driving support ECU assembly is detected for approximately 5 seconds. CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

    6. Perform the following procedure.

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 5 km/h (4 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more.

    7. Check for DTCs.
