DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the millimeter wave radar sensor to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle.

Based on this information, the driving support ECU calculates the risk of a crash and operates the pre-crash system when it determines that the risk is high.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash 2 / DTC.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1A01 is not output.

    OK
