FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

   CAUTION:

   
   

   • The nuts must not be reused.

   • Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

   
   

   1. Install the front seat airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

   2. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the airbag wire harness.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

   for Manual Seat: Click here

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

   for Manual Seat: Click here

   for Power Seat: Click here

4. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Manual Seat)

   
   

   1. w/ Seat Heater System:

      
      

      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

   2. Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

   3. Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

   4. Install the rubber band.

5. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Power Seat)

   
   

   1. w/ Seat Heater System:

      
      

      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

   2. Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

   3. Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

   4. Install the rubber band.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

7. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
