NETWORK GATEWAY ECU INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Connect the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.

      Note

      Confirm that the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector is securely locked.

   2. 

      While tilting the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU), insert the stud bolt into the installation hole.

      Tech Tips

      Tilt the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) to the point where the protrusion does not contact the center instrument panel reinforcement sub-assembly.

   3. Rotate the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) clockwise until the protrusion is within the cutout of the center instrument panel reinforcement sub-assembly.

   4. Install the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) assembly with the nut.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL CENTRAL GATEWAY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Connect the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.

      Note

      Confirm that the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) connector is securely locked.

   2. 

      While tilting the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU), insert the stud bolt into the installation hole.

      Tech Tips

      Tilt the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) to the point where the protrusion does not contact the center instrument panel reinforcement sub-assembly.

   3. Rotate the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) clockwise until the protrusion is within the cutout of the center instrument panel reinforcement sub-assembly.

   4. Install the central gateway ECU (network gateway ECU) assembly with the nut.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
