DRIVING SUPPORT BUZZER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the skid control buzzer assembly.

  6. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  7. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the skid control buzzer assembly.
