DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the dynamic radar cruise control system is turned on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF button), the cruise control indicator (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode) illuminates. The power management control ECU uses this and other indicators to indicate the control condition (presence or absence of a preceding vehicle, vehicle-to-vehicle distance, and set vehicle speed) and fail-safe state via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise 1 / Data List.

    2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
