After confirming that DTC P0A2C-247 or P0A2D-249 is output, use the intelligent tester to check "Motor Temp No1" in the power management control ECU Data List.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR)


    1. Check the connection condition of the power management control ECU connectors and the contact pressure of each terminal. Check the terminals for deformation, and check the connector for water ingress and foreign matter.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Data List / Motor Temp No1.

    4. Read the Data List.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Connect the D8 motor temperature sensor connector.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    5. Read the Data List.

    1. Disconnect the motor temperature sensor connector.

    2. Disconnect connector A19 from the power management control ECU.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
