VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Utility / Vehicle Control History.
| GTS Display | Measurement Item | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Charge / Discharge Control Value Limit by Battery Temperature | History of HV battery charge/discharge being restricted If the temperature of the HV battery becomes approximately 44°C (111.2°F) or higher due to high ambient temperature, high cabin temperature, continuous driving under high load (such as mountain driving or frequent acceleration/deceleration), clogged hybrid battery intake duct, etc., the HV battery current will be restricted In this case the value of WIN/WOUT will decrease and the engine will stop and start less frequently. |
|
*: Check the following freeze frame data recorded with the Vehicle Control History.
| GTS Display | Description | Diagnostic Note |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid Battery Maximum Temperature | Highest measured temperature of the HV battery | Excessively high HV battery temperature: approximately 44°C (111.2°F) or higher. |
| Hybrid Battery Cooling Fan Intake Air Temperature | Battery cooling blower assembly intake air temperature | If this value is high (approximately 38°C (100.4°F) or higher), due to high ambient temperature or high cabin temperature, the temperature of the HV battery may become high. |
| WIN Control Limit Power | Power flowing to HV battery (Charging) (detected at battery voltage sensor) |
- |
| WOUT Control Limit Power | Power flowing from HV battery (Discharging) (detected at battery voltage sensor) |
