MICROPHONE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT THEFT WARNING RADAR SENSOR (w/ Intrusion Sensor)


    1. w/o Sliding Roof:


      1. A004W55

        Peel back the tape used to secure the cord only to the extent that allows removal of the cord.

        Tech Tips

        Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

      2. A004YW1

        Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

      3. A004XHO

        Peel back the tape used to secure the cord only to the extent that allows removal of the cord.

        Tech Tips

        Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

      4. A004VZ7

        Remove the 2 screws and disconnect the connector.

      5. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. A004XBH

        Remove the 2 screws and disconnect the connector.

      2. A004Y1Q

        Disengage the 6 clamps.

  3. REMOVE AMPLIFIER MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY


    1. A004VF1

      Peel back the tape used to secure the cord only to the extent that allows removal of the cord.

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

    2. A00507C

      Disconnect the connector and disengage the guide.

    3. A004WRS

      Remove the 7 screws and cover.

    4. A004YJF

      Remove the board as shown in the illustration.

    5. A004ZGC

      Remove the map knob guide as shown in the illustration.

    6. A004VDG

      Disengage the 2 claws.
