RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  2. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  4. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the 10 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Peel back the tape used to secure the antenna cord only to the extent that allows removal of the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the roof headlining so that the tape can be reused.

    2. Remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Telematics Transceiver)


    1. B001MY4

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. B001M96

      Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Telematics Transceiver)


    1. B001LVA

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. B001LJG

      Remove the bolt.

    3. Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE UPPER BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

    Click here

  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *3 Washer hose

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. w/ Rear Wiper:


      1. Disconnect both ends of the washer hose.

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Remove the bolt.

    6. Disengage the 5 clamps.

    7. Disengage the 2 grommets and remove the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.
