DESCRIPTION
If there is a short in a speaker circuit, the radio receiver assembly detects it and stops output to the speakers.
Thus sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio receiver assembly or speakers.
If there is a short in a speaker circuit, the stereo component amplifier assembly detects it and stops output to the speakers.

Disconnect the J1 and K1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the H46 radio setting condenser connector.
Measure the resistance between the radio receiver assembly and each of the front No. 1 speaker assemblies to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.

When there is a possibility that either the right or left speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
Perform the above inspection on both the LH and RH side.
