SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ROOF WIND DEFLECTOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 2 pins to install the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

      Note

      Check and be sure that the spring indicated by the arrow in the illustration is securely installed.

  2. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Hold down the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

      Tech Tips


      • Hold the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly down until the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly runs on the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Install the 2 sliding roof side stoppers with the 2 screws.

  3. INSTALL REAR ROOF DRIP CHANNEL

    1. Move the rear roof drip channel forward from the rear side of the sliding roof housing, and install the rear roof drip channel to the sliding roof housing.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear roof drip channel.

  4. ADJUST SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    *2 Matchmark

    1. Using a screwdriver, align the matchmarks by sliding the drive cable in the directions indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Insert the sunshade trim sub-assembly into the sliding roof housing.

    2. A001DZM

      Install the sliding roof piece LH and RH with the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
    2. A001DHU

      Attach the bracket's claw to install the bracket.
