LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

      *a	Component without harness connected (Lumbar Support Adjuster Assembly LH)

      Check the operation of the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH connector, and check that the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH operates smoothly as follows.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Forward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 Backward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback spring assembly LH.

2. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH

      1. Apply battery voltage to the lumbar support adjuster assembly RH connector, and check that the lumbar support adjuster assembly RH operates smoothly as follows.

         Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 Forward Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 Backward

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback spring assembly RH.
