SEAT MEMORY SWITCH(for Rear Side) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for LH Side)

   
   

   1. Check the resistance.

      

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (SET) - 5 (SGND) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 (M) - 5 (SGND) M switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 (CAN) - 5 (SGND) C switch pressed Below 1 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat memory switch.

   2. Inspect the illumination operation.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the rear seat memory switch connector, and check that the rear seat memory switch LED illuminates.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 8 (ILL-) LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat memory switch.

2. INSPECT REAR SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for RH Side)

   
   

   1. Check the resistance.

      

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (SET) - 5 (SGND) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω 2 (M) - 5 (SGND) M switch pressed Below 1 Ω 1 (CAN) - 5 (SGND) C switch pressed Below 1 Ω

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat memory switch.

   2. Inspect the illumination operation.

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the rear seat memory switch connector, and check that the rear seat memory switch LED illuminates.

         OK
         Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 8 (ILL-) LED illuminates

         If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat memory switch.
