FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM Front Passenger Seat Ottoman Linked Operation does not Function with Rear Power Seat Switch

DESCRIPTION

When the rear power seat module switch's FRONT switch is pressed, switch information is sent from the rear power seat module switch to the front power seat switch RH (passenger seat ECU) through CAN communication. Then the front power seat switch RH (passenger seat ECU) moves the front passenger seat to the full front position.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM


    1. Check that each function of the power seat operates normally by using the front power seat switches.

      OK

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER SEAT SWITCH)


    1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the rear power seat module switch.

      Rear Console Switch

      P Seat Slide Front Switch Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch signal (Forward) / ON or OFF

      ON: Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch (Forward) is ON

      OFF: Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch (Forward) is OFF

      P Seat Slide Back Switch Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch signal (Rearward) / ON or OFF

      ON: Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch (Rearward) is ON

      OFF: Front passenger seat and ottoman full front switch (Rearward) is OFF

      On tester screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
