ENTRY AND START SYSTEM Entry Interior Alarm does not Sound

DESCRIPTION

The entry and start system uses the combination meter buzzer to perform various vehicle interior warnings. When each warning's conditions are met, the certification ECU sends a buzzer signal to the No. 1 meter ECU sub-assembly, and the combination meter buzzer sounds.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK COMBINATION METER (OPERATION)

   
   

   1. When the engine switch is on (IG) and the shift lever is on R, check that the combination meter buzzer sounds.

      OK
      Combination meter buzzer sounds.

   
   

   OK

   REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU

   NG
