CONSOLE BOX LIGHT(for Roof) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CONSOLE BOX LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   *a	Component without harness connected (Console Box Light Sub-Assembly)

   
   

   1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

      OK
      Connection Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 14 (RRMP) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (RGND) Console box light RH illuminates Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (RLMP) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (RGND) Console box light LH illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the console box light sub-assembly.

   2.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 7 (RRSW) - 5 (RGND) Switch on both sides OFF 10 kΩ or higher 6 (RLSW) - 5 (RGND) Switch on both sides OFF 10 kΩ or higher 7 (RRSW) - 5 (RGND) Rear right side switch ON Below 1 Ω 6 (RLSW) - 5 (RGND) Rear left side switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the console box light sub-assembly.
