  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTC Click here.


    NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2471 output does not occur

    OK

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK Click here

    NG

  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and perform a driving on a straight road where the traffic lanes are visible.

    2. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2471 output does not occur

      Note


      • Correct the cause of the tilt (excessive load, towing, modification) during the diagnosis.

      • Depending on driving conditions, it may take some time until the DTC is cleared, or the DTC may not be cleared.

  4. ADJUST INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SYSTEM SENSOR)


    1. Perform beam axis initialization for the inner rear view mirror assembly (adaptive high beam system sensor) Click here.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Check for DTC Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2471 output does not occur

    OK

    END (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR [ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SYSTEM SENSOR] BEAM AXIS INCOMPLETE)

    NG

  5. CHECK INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SYSTEM SENSOR)


    1. Temporarily replace the inner rear view mirror (adaptive high beam system sensor) with a new or normally functioning one Click here.

    2. Perform beam axis initialization for the inner rear view mirror assembly (adaptive high beam system sensor) Click here.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Check for DTC Click here.
