C1A41 Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives brake control request signals from the ECM and driving support ECU.

When the request signals received from the ECM and driving support ECU are not consistent, the skid control ECU determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU.

If the driving support ECU receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41/52 is output. Although the skid control ECU sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU, the ABS does not output a relevant malfunction detection DTC.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC /. Then select "Diagnostic Code".

    2. Check for DTCs.

      OK
      Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (SFI SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine /. Then select "Diagnostic Code".

    2. Check for DTCs.

  3. REPLACE ECM


    1. for 1UZ-FSE:

      Replace the ECM Click here.

    1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash2 /. Then select "Diagnostic Code".

    2. Select "Clear" and clear the data.

    3. Recheck for DTC.

      OK
      DTC C1A41 is not output.

  5. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU


    1. for LHD:

      Replace the skid control ECU Click here.

    2. for RHD:
