DESCRIPTION

The power cut relay is built into the power electric control ECU. When the vehicle is parked for an extended period of time, the power electric control ECU turns the power cut relay OFF, which cuts power to the power cut linked parts.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUSE (P-D/C CUT)


    1. Remove the P-D/C CUT fuse from the passenger side junction block.

    2. Measure the resistance of the fuse.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P-D/C CUT fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG
    OK
  2. CHECK PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (BCUT INPUT VOLTAGE)

    *1 Front view of wire harness connected: (to Passenger Side Junction Block)
    *2 BCUT

    1. Disconnect the PM junction block connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      PM-1 (BCUT) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

  3. CHECK PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (CUTD OUTPUT VOLTAGE)

    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      PA-57 or PA-35 (CUTD) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

  4. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Delete the DTC Click here.

    2. Check for the DTC again Click here.
