Note

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the accessory meter assembly after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the L146 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the S85 luggage electrical key switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L146-19 (V-) - S85-2 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      L146-18 (V+) - S85-7 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      L146-40 (CGND) - S85-1 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      L146-39 (CA+) - S85-6 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
L146-19 (V-) or S85-2 (CV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L146-18 (V+) or S85-7 (CV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
L146-40 (CGND) or S85-1 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L146-39 (CA+) or S85-6 (CB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
