FRONT STABILIZER BAR(for 2WD) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. A001BMA

      Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.

    2. Temporarily install the nut, use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

      Standard turning torque
      0.05 to 1.96 N*m (0.5 to 20 kgf*cm, 0.4 to 17 in.*lbf)

      If the value is not within the specified range, replace the rear suspension toe control link with a new one.

    3. Check the dust boot for cracks or grease leakage.
