FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER(w/ Air Suspension) DISPOSAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISPOSE OF PNEUMATIC CYLINDER WITH FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A001EYPE01
      *1 for 2WD:
      *2 74.5 mm (2.93 in.)
      *3 for AWD:
      *4 30 mm (1.18 in.)

      Fully extend the front shock absorber rod.

    2. Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder somewhere between A and B shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

      CAUTION:

      Be careful as the cylinder is a high-pressure gas type which is at a higher pressure than normal shock absorbers. Also be careful with high temperatures as the cylinder's pressure becomes even higher.

      Note

      The gas is colorless, odorless and harmless.
