DESCRIPTION

C1762/62 With the exhaust valve activated, the vehicle does not go down to the standard vehicle height after 6 minutes have elapsed.
  • Air tube

  • No. 1 height control valve

  • No. 2 height control valve

  • Height control compressor

Note


  • Before performing troubleshooting, inspect the connectors of related circuits.

  • Before replacing the suspension control ECU, perform all of the following again: 1) symptom simulation Click here; 2) DTC inspection; and 3) intelligent tester inspection (ECU Data List or Active Test). If no malfunctions are found in other areas, replace the suspension control ECU.

  • If the suspension control ECU or height control sensor is replaced, the vehicle height offset calibration must be performed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK AIR TUBE


    1. Check if any of the air tubes are clogged.

      OK
      No clogs.

    NG
    OK
  2. INSPECT IF NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE IS STUCK


    1. Remove the No. 1 height control valve Click here.

    2. A001CV7E38
      *1 Component without harness connected: (No. 1 Height Control Valve)

      Check the No. 1 height control valve RH valve.


      1. Connect terminal 1 (RH+) to the battery positive (+) terminal, and terminal 2 (E) to the battery negative (-) terminal.

      2. Check the operating sound of the height control valve.

        OK
        It makes an operating sound (click).
    3. A001CV7E39
      *1 Component without harness connected: (No. 1 Height Control Valve)

      Check the No. 1 height control valve LH valve.


      1. Connect terminal 3 (LH+) to the battery positive (+) terminal, and terminal 2 (E) to the battery negative (-) terminal.

      2. Check the operating sound of the height control valve.

        OK
        It makes an operating sound (click).

  3. INSPECT IF NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE IS STUCK


    1. Remove the No. 2 height control valve Click here.

    2. A001CV7E40
      *1 Component without harness connected: (No. 2 Height Control Valve)

      Check the No. 2 height control valve RH valve.


      1. Connect terminal 1 (RH+) to the battery positive (+) terminal, and terminal 2 (E) to the battery negative (-) terminal.

      2. Check the operating sound of the height control valve.

        OK
        It makes an operating sound (click).

      *1 Component without harness connected: (No. 2 Height Control Valve)

      Check the No. 2 height control valve LH valve.


      1. Connect terminal 3 (LH+) to the battery positive (+) terminal, and terminal 2 (E) to the battery negative (-) terminal.

  4. INSPECT IF HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR EXHAUST VALVE IS STUCK


    1. Remove the height control compressor Click here.

    2. A001CCNE02
      *1 Component without harness connected: (Exhaust Valve)

      Inspect if exhaust valve is stuck:


      1. Connect terminal 1 (B) to the battery positive (+) terminal, and terminal 2 (L) to the battery negative (-) terminal.

      2. Check the operating sound of the height control valve.

        OK
        It makes an operating sound (click).
