CANISTER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CANISTER SUPPORT BRACKET

    A001AVU

    1. Install the canister support bracket with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL CANISTER


    1. A001EL8E01
      *1 Nut

      Install the canister with the 4 bolts and 2 plastic nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the fuel hose to the pipe.

    3. A0019O6E01
      *1 Retainer

      Connect the air inlet line tube and vent line tube to the pipe, as shown in the illustration. Then push up the retainer to lock the claws.

      Note


      • A001DLEE05

      • Check that there are no scratches or foreign objects around the connected part of the fuel tube connector and pipe before performing this work.

      • After connecting the fuel tank vent tube, check that the fuel tank vent tube is securely connected by pulling the fuel tube connector and pipe.

  3. INSTALL FLOOR NO. 1 UNDER COVER


    1. A001EO8

      Install the under cover with the 5 nuts and 5 clips.

    2. Install the 2 hole plugs.
