REPLACE TIMING CHAIN COVER STRAIGHT PIN

Remove the straight pin.
Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap in new straight pins to the timing chain cover.

REPLACE TIMING CHAIN COVER RING PIN
| *1 | 3.6 to 4.6 mm |
| *2 | 7.5 to 8.5 mm |
Remove the ring pin.
Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap in new ring pins to the timing chain cover.

REPLACE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL

Place the oil seal retainer on wooden blocks.
Using a screwdriver and hammer, tap out the oil seal.
Using SST, tap in a new oil seal until its surface is flush with the oil seal retainer edge.
Note
Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
Do not tap on the oil seal at an angle.
