  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE

  2. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut and disconnect the control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

    2. Remove the clip and disconnect the control cable assembly.

  3. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and heat insulator assembly from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

      Disconnect the connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

    3. A003CCSE01

      Using a screwdriver, pry out the tabs of nut stopper and remove the lock nut and nut stopper.

      Remove the bolt and park/neutral position start switch assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the manual valve lever shaft has not been rotated prior to installing the park/neutral position switch as the detent spring may become detached from the manual valve lever shaft.
