INSPECT 2ND COAST BRAKE BAND ASSEMBLY
If the lining of the brake band is peeled off or discolored, or even if only a part of the printed numbers are corroded, replace the brake band.
Before assembling the new band, soak it in ATF for at least 15 minutes.
INSTALL 2ND COAST BRAKE PISTON
When the piston rod stroke is outside the standard value even if the brake band works normally, replace the rod with a new one.
There are 2 different lengths for piston rod.
