СТАРТЕР РАЗБОРКА


  1. REMOVE MAGNET STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut and disconnect the lead wire from terminal C.

    2. A003HE6

      Remove the 2 nuts from the starter drive housing assembly while holding the magnet starter switch assembly.

    3. A003CN6

      Pull the magnet starter switch assembly and while lifting the front part of the magnet starter switch assembly, release the plunger hook from the starter drive lever and remove the magnet starter switch assembly.

  2. REMOVE STARTER YOKE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 through bolts and pull out the starter yoke assembly together with the starter armature assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the starter yoke assembly.

  3. REMOVE STARTER COMMUTATOR END FRAME ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws and starter commutator end frame assembly while holding down the lead wire.

      Note

      To avoid interference between the starter brush holder assembly and dust protector, pull the starter commutator end frame assembly away at an angle.

  4. REMOVE STARTER BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver, pry the end of the spring away from each brush and pull out the 4 brushes from the starter brush holder assembly so that they are held in place by the springs.

    2. Remove the starter brush holder assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the starter yoke assembly.

  5. REMOVE STARTER ARMATURE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the starter armature assembly from the starter yoke assembly.

  6. REMOVE STARTER CENTER BEARING CLUTCH SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the starter center bearing clutch sub-assembly together with the starter drive lever from the starter drive housing assembly.

    2. Remove the starter drive lever from the starter center bearing clutch sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE PLANETARY GEAR


    1. A003CMY

      Remove the plate.

    2. Remove the 3 planetary gears.

    3. Remove the plate washer.
