  1. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply clean engine oil to the gasket of a new oil filter.

      Note

      Check and clean the oil filter installation surface.

    2. Lightly screw the oil filter into place by hand. Tighten it until the gasket contacts the seat.

    3. A003GTQE01

      Using SST, tighten the oil filter until the gasket contacts the seat, and then turn it further 3/4.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE COVER NO.2


    1. Install the engine service hole cover No.2 with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
    2. A003CDS

      Return the carpet.

  3. ADD ENGINE OIL


    1. Add the engine oil.

      Standard capacity
      Item Capacity
      Drain and refill with oil filter change 6.5 liters (6.9 US qts, 5.7 Imp. qts)
      Drain and refill without oil filter change 6.3 liters (6.7 US qts, 5.5 Imp. qts)
      Dry fill 7.2 liters (7.6 US qts, 6.3 Imp. qts)

    2. Install the oil filler cap.

  4. CHECK FOR ENGINE OIL LEAKS


    1. Start the engine and check that no leakage from the connection with the oil filter and drain plug gasket.
