RADIO ANTENNA CORD (for Glass Antenna Type) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Airbag System)

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Airbag System)

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear View Monitor System)

    Tech Tips

    The following illustration shows a rear left view of the vehicle interior.


    1. for LHD:

      A003EIE

      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect each connector.

      3. Detach the guide and each clamp and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. for RHD:

      A003GJD

      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect each connector.

      3. Detach the guide and each clamp and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 ROOF WIRE (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY) (w/ Rear View Monitor System)

      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect each connector.

      3. Detach the guide and each clamp and remove the No. 4 roof wire (No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly).

    2. for RHD:

      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Disconnect each connector.

      3. Detach the guide and each clamp and remove the No. 4 roof wire (No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly).
