DESCRIPTION


The combination meter assembly communicates with the ECM via the CAN communication system.

The combination meter assembly communicates with the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) via the CAN communication system*1.

The combination meter assembly communicates with the center airbag sensor assembly via the CAN communication system*2.

The combination meter assembly communicates with the headlight leveling ECU assembly via the CAN communication system*3.

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • No communication with the ECM continues for 2 seconds or more.

  • ECM

U0129*1

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • No communication with the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) continues for 10 seconds or more.

  • Brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU)

  • Combination meter assembly
U0151*2

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • No communication with the center airbag sensor assembly continues for 10 seconds or more.

  • Center airbag sensor assembly

  • Combination meter assembly
U0182*3

Both conditions are met:


  • IG voltage is 10.5 V or higher.

  • No communication with the headlight leveling ECU assembly continues for 10 seconds or more.

  • Headlight leveling ECU assembly

      Tech Tips

      If CAN communication system DTC U0100, U0129*1, U0151*2 or U0182*3 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for CAN communication system DTC U0100, U0129*1, U0151*2 or U0182*3 first.
