DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER (w/o Smart Entry and Start System) INSTALLATION

Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components.


  1. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY

      Install the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

      • Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.

      • Keep the transmitter cover interior free of dust and oil.

      Attach the 7 claws to install the transmitter battery cover.

  2. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET

      Install the door control transmitter module set.

      Note

      When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the door control transmitter module set from being damaged.

  3. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER


    1. A003ICO

      Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.
