HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    A003H5O

    1. Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly to the steering column, making sure that the stopper protrusions and cutout parts align.

    2. A003EE0

      While loosening the band clamp, attach the claw to install the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/o Entry and Start System:


      1. A003CYX

        Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly to the steering column, making sure that the stopper protrusions and cutout parts align.

      2. A003IEI

        While loosening the band clamp, attach the claw to install the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

      3. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Entry and Start System:


      1. A003GEN

        Attach the 3 claws to install the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

      2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the claw to install the windshield wiper switch assembly.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  4. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  6. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
