ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Rear) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (W/ PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. A003F92E01

      Remove the rear room light assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear room light connector.

    3. Check that the rear room light comes on.

      OK
      Measurement condition Switch condition Specified condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      		 DOOR Rear room light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 ON Rear room light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear room light assembly.

  2. INSPECT REAR ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (W/O PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. A003AM8E01

      Remove the rear room light assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear room light connector.

    3. Check that the rear room light comes on.

      OK
      Measurement condition Switch condition Specified condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Body ground

      		 ON Rear room light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 DOOR Rear room light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear room light assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Check that the ground wire of the rear room light assembly is connected to body ground.
