ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Center) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT CENTER ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (W/ PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. A003F92E01

      Remove the center room light assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the center room light connector.

    3. Check that the center room light comes on.

      OK
      Measurement condition Switch condition Specified condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

      		 DOOR Center room light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 ON Center room light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the center room light assembly.

  2. INSPECT CENTER ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (W/O PERSONAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. A003AM8E01

      Remove the center room light assembly.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the center room light connector.

    3. Check that the center room light comes on.

      OK
      Measurement condition Switch condition Specified condition

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Body ground

      		 ON Center room light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      		 DOOR Center room light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the center room light assembly.

      Note

      Check that the ground wire of the center room light assembly is connected to body ground.
