LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 license plate lights to the back door outside garnish.

    2. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps and install the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

      Install the grommet.

    2. Attach the 2 clips to install the back door outside garnish.

    3. Install the 5 nuts.

    4. w/ Smart Entry and Start System:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors.

    5. w/o Smart Entry and Start System:


      1. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Molded Door Trim)

      Attach the 18 clips to install the back door trim board.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD (for Board)


    1. A003FKJ

      Install the back door trim board with the 16 clips.

  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL (w/ Back Door Inside Handle Bezel)

      1. Install the back door inside handle bezel with the 2 screws.

    2. w/ Illumination:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Install the back door inside handle bezel with the 2 screws.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR INSIDE HANDLE (w/ Back Door Inside Handle)

      Install the back door inside handle assembly with the screw.

  7. INSPECT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Turn the ignition switch to on.

    2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the tail or head position and check that the license plate light illuminates.
