HEATER SWITCH (w/ Hot Gas Heater) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER CENTER (for LHD)

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER (for RHD)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel finish lower.

    3. Disconnect each connector.

      Push the positions indicated by the arrows in the illustration to disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable and bonnet (hood) control cable assembly from the instrument panel finish lower.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the instrument panel under cover sub-assembly No. 1.

  4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER (for RHD)

      Detach the 6 claws and remove the parking brake hole cover.

    2. Disconnect each connector.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB (for RHD)

      Turn the shift lever knob in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  6. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      for Manual Transmission:

      Detach the 6 claws and remove the shifting hole cover assembly.

    2. for Automatic Transmission:

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the shifting hole cover assembly.

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER (for RHD)

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel lower center.

  8. REMOVE HEATER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Hot Gas Heater)

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the heater switch assembly from the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly lower center.

  9. REMOVE IDLE UP SWITCH (w/o Hot Gas Heater)

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the idle up switch from the instrument panel finish panel lower center.
