COMPRESSOR (for GD Series Engine) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE COOLER BRACKET

    A003GUN

    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. Remove the screw and cooler bracket.

  2. REMOVE MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

    A003FHFE01

    1. Clamp the cooler compressor assembly in a vise.

    2. Using SST, hold the magnet clutch hub.

    3. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washer(s).

      Tech Tips

      There is no set number of magnet clutch washers since they are used for adjusting.

    4. A003GMA

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch rotor.

      Note

      Do not damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

    5. Disconnect the connector.

    6. A003FZH

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch stator.
